Text Messaging / SMS Communications

City Edge Dental offers an SMS text messaging program to help patients manage their care. If you provide your mobile phone number and consent to receive text messages, we use it to send appointment reminders, confirmations, rescheduling notifications, follow-up care instructions, and occasional office updates such as holiday hours.
Opt-In: You may opt in to receive text messages when you schedule an appointment (in person, by phone, or through our online booking form or third-party scheduling provider), when you complete an intake form, or by texting START to our practice number. By opting in, you agree to receive recurring automated text messages at the mobile number you provide.
Opt-Out: You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you opt out, we will send one confirmation message and will not send further texts unless you opt in again.

Message Frequency & Rates: Message frequency varies based on your appointment activity. Message and data rates may apply.
No Sharing of Mobile Information: We do not sell your personal information. No mobile information (including your phone number and SMS consent) will be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers may be shared only with the service providers that operate our messaging and scheduling systems on our behalf (for example, our SMS platform and our scheduling provider, NexHealth), solely to deliver the services described above.
