Types of Implant Restorations

Single Tooth Implants

A single-tooth implant is placed for one missing tooth. A single titanium dental implant holds the crown (artificial tooth) in place. Your new tooth will be fabricated to look and feel like your natural tooth. (Shown above.)

Implant Bridge

Two or three implants are put into the jaw bone to hold a bridge with multiple crowns. The healthy teeth next to it are kept in place.

Full Mouth Dental Implants

Our surgeon places 4-6 titanium implants into the upper and/or lower jaw bone and on the same day secures a temporary full arch of teeth that looks and feels perfectly natural. The arch attaches to the implants, so you get a full set of teeth on the top or bottom. The permanent zirconia arch is placed in 3-4 months later.

The Advantages of Dental Implants

Dental implants are a revolutionary tooth replacement option that offers numerous benefits over traditional dentures or bridges. When you choose dental implants at City Edge Dental, you can experience:

Enhanced Aesthetics

Dental implants are designed to look and feel like your natural teeth, providing you with a seamlessly beautiful smile. The custom-made prosthetic teeth are crafted to match the shape, color, and size of your existing teeth, ensuring a harmonious and natural appearance.

Improved Oral Function

Unlike removable dentures, dental implants are securely anchored in your jawbone, offering stability and comfort while chewing and speaking. With dental implants, you can enjoy your favorite foods without worry and speak with clarity and confidence.

Long-Lasting Solution

Dental implants are a durable and long-term solution for tooth loss. With proper care and regular dental check-ups, they can last a lifetime. Unlike traditional dentures that may require frequent adjustments or replacements, dental implants offer a reliable and permanent tooth replacement option.

Preservation of Jawbone Health

When a tooth is lost, the underlying jawbone can start to deteriorate over time. Dental implants stimulate the jawbone, preventing bone loss and maintaining its strength and integrity. By preserving the natural bone structure, dental implants help to maintain the overall facial structure and prevent a sunken appearance.

Enhanced Self-Confidence

With dental implants, you can restore your smile and regain your self-confidence. No longer will you feel self-conscious about gaps in your teeth or worry about your dentures slipping. Dental implants provide a stable and secure solution, allowing you to smile, eat, and speak with confidence.

Implant-supported Dentures: Unmatched Stability and Comfort

We offer implant-supported dentures that combine the benefits of dental implants with the convenience of dentures. These dentures are anchored using 4-6 dental implants, providing unparalleled stability and eliminating the need for messy adhesives. With implant-supported dentures, you can enjoy the following advantages:

Increased biting force:

Implant-supported dentures allow you to bite and chew with more strength, enabling you to enjoy a wider variety of foods.

Enhanced comfort:

Unlike traditional dentures that rest on the gums, implant-supported dentures are firmly secured to the implants, providing a more comfortable fit.

‍Improved speech:

With implant-supported dentures, you can speak clearly and confidently without worrying about dentures slipping or clicking.

Teeth In A Day: A Convenient Solution for Immediate Results

The Same-Day Implant Surgery Process

When you choose City Edge Dental for your dental implant needs, you can expect a seamless and patient-focused same-day implant surgery process. Here's a brief overview of what you can expect:

Initial consultation:

Our dental experts will conduct a comprehensive examination, including digital imaging and 3D scans, to assess your oral health and determine your suitability for dental implants.

Treatment planning:

Based on the examination results, our team will create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your specific needs and goals. We will explain the procedure, answer any questions you may have, and ensure you feel comfortable and confident about moving forward.

Implant placement:

On the day of your surgery, our skilled dental professionals will precisely place the dental implants into your jawbone. If necessary, any remaining damaged teeth will be extracted. We will then attach temporary teeth, allowing you to leave our office with a functional smile.

Healing and final restoration:

Over the next few months, your dental implants will integrate with your jawbone, providing a stable foundation for your permanent teeth. Once the implants have fully healed, we will replace the temporary teeth with your custom-designed, permanent prosthetic teeth, perfectly tailored to your smile.

Follow-up care:

We believe in the importance of post-treatment care and will schedule regular check-ups to ensure the health and longevity of your dental implants. Our dedicated team will provide guidance on oral hygiene practices and answer any questions or concerns you may have.
